How It Works: Step-by-Step Shed Delivery and Installation

Getting your shed installed on site is easier than you think. Our seamless four-step process takes the stress out of building, ensuring a smooth experience from the moment you order to the final inspection.

Step 1: Schedule Your Shed Installation

Once you’ve selected your perfect shed, we’ll contact you within three business days to arrange a date. Our typical lead times range from three to six weeks, giving you just enough time to plan for your new workshop or storage space. We work around your schedule to find a time that suits you best.

Step 2: Prepare Your Property for Installation

We’ll take care of the build, but some quick prep ahead of time helps keep installation moving. Before we arrive, please ensure your build site is cleared and level within six inches.

  • Clearance: We need about 3’ of clearance around the site (4’ for sheds larger than 160 sq. ft.) to work our magic.
  • Power: Please ensure we have access to electricity within 150’ of the site.
  • Foundation: While we can build on level ground, checking out our guide on how to build a shed foundation can help you decide if a concrete or gravel pad is right for you.

Step 3: Delivery Day and On-Site Installation

On the big day, our professional shed installers will arrive with all materials. No cranes, wide-load trucks, or heavy machinery needed. We carry everything to the site piece by piece, protecting your lawn and fences. Watch your structure go from a stack of lumber to a finished building. Most installed sheds are completed in just one day!

Step 4: Expert Quality Checks

We don’t just build and run. Before our team leaves, they will conduct a final walkthrough with you. We check that every door swings smoothly, every shingle is secure, and the structure is solid. This is your opportunity to ask questions and ensure the shed installation meets your standards.

Why Choose a Built-On-Site Shed?

Why choose a built-on-site shed over a prefab drop-off? It comes down to quality, fit, and accessibility. A storage shed with installation built directly in your yard offers benefits that factory-assembled units just can't match.

  • Precision Fit: Our pros ensure the structure is perfectly level and square, customized to your yard’s specific topography.
  • Access Anywhere: Have a narrow gate or a fenced-in yard? No problem. Our shed delivery and installation process allows us to build in tight spaces where a delivery truck could never fit.
  • Superior Durability: By building from the ground up, we ensure superior structural integrity.
  • Time Savings: How long does it take to build a shed? If you did it yourself, it could take weekends of work. We get it done in 1 to 2 days.
