Yard Location

Choosing the right location for your shed involves several key considerations to ensure it remains functional and durable. Keep the following points in mind:

Choose a high spot in your yard, avoiding low areas where water accumulates.
Ensure the builder has 3 feet of clearance on all sides for installation.
Consider door and window placement to maximize natural light inside the shed.

Before installing a shed, understanding permit requirements and Homeowners Association (HOA) restrictions is essential to avoid legal complications and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Step 1: Schedule Your Shed Installation

We’ll contact you within three business days. Typical lead times range from three to six weeks.

Step 2: Prepare Your Property

Clearance: 3’ on all sides (4’ for sheds over 160 sq. ft.).
Power: Electricity access within 150’.
Site: Level within six inches.

Step 3: Delivery & Installation

Most sheds are completed in one day with no heavy machinery required.

Step 4: Final Inspection

Installers confirm doors, shingles, and overall structure meet quality standards.

Caulk all joints once the shed is built.
Keep grass and plants trimmed around the perimeter.
Do not mound soil or mulch against siding.
Avoid stacking items against the exterior.
Lubricate locking hardware with silicone.
